City Books is an independent bookshop founded and run by Paul and Inge Sweetman. We pride ourselves in our traditional values, whilst using the best of modern technology to provide excellent service, delivered with a light touch.

Our literary events provide a fantastic opportunity to hear authors present their new books. During these relaxed evenings, you will have the chance to pose questions to the guest and purchase signed first editions at reduced price. Tickets are available from City Books.
