Libby Walker is an illustrator and maker based in Glasgow. Libby works from her studio shop on Pollokshaws Road, drawing inspiration from the beating heart of the city to create exciting works that reflect our environment.

After graduating in 2009 from the Edinburgh College of Art, Libby went on to work as a freelance illustrator while also creating her own products and wares. Read more about Libby’s journey to opening her own store here.

Libby’s work celebrates the thriving communities and sprawling architecture of the city. Drawing inspiration from the places she visits and the people she meets, Libby aims to capture the simple places we visit in our day-to-day lives. Our morning coffee, our Sunday lunch, an evening pint. Libby selects local independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and places them in a snapshot artwork of that time and place.
